Welcome to Patrick..

Well he is finally here.. welcome to little Patrick William .. isn't he adorable.. and impatient too.. decided he didn't want to follow Amanda's plans so came early.. and isn't he sooo cute.. He was on 6lb 9 oz.. and he is just soo tiny.. I am soo excited.. as is Nicholas.. who I have heard is telling everyone that he is 'his' bubba.. so cute.. Congratulations Mark and Amanda.. I couldn't be happier for you.. and we all soo look forward to being a part of his life..

and lok how little those feet are.. I am already in trouble for taking too many pics of him.. I mean what did Mark expect.. How could I not.. mwah.. lubs ya too Mark..rofl.

Ok.. On the other news front.. lol.. We think we have finally beaten the nasty bugs in Connor's hair..My God they are horrid.. I soo hope we don't have to go through that again.. though that may be wishful thinking.lol..

Today a few of the girls came over for morning tea, lunch, arvo tea..lol.. I love Fridays.. We decided it has been so hot we would let the kids play in the hose.. and Jodie brought over her slip n slide.. We may have to get one of them.. the kids loved it.. They all had a blast.. and got covered in water and grass and god knows what else.. So here are some pics of the fun..

Connor and Jack.. double trouble..lol as you can see Brodie is following them.. he didn't want to wait his turn.. every time someone ran down.. he followed... pmsl.. generally to lay at the end on the inflated part.. or to drink the water out of the spray in the middle.. little dag he is..rofl..

Emma had as much fun as the boys.. Little Adam had one go.. but managed to hit his head on the ground.. so that was it for him..lol.. poor little thing..

After the slide we let them have a few water balloons.. Kyle got Tom a good one..lol..

And of course when Declan got his cute little purple balloon he didn't want it busted.. He's a worry that boy.. he wanted to carry it around inside and couldn't understand why I wouldn't let him..lol..

They had a great day playing and having fun.. I think Connor is really enjoying his school hols... anyway .. a busy weekend ahead.. We are off to say one last goodbye to Cees and Sandra before they leave for good next week.. we will certainly miss them..

Then we are going to see some of Greg's Family Friends that are up with a caravan group.. they are having an open day here in Rocky.. so it will be good to catch up with them..

Then a few of us are going camping.. in our back yard..lol.. We decided we better check out all the equipment as it hasn't been used for so long.. and Greg bought a new tent.. so Rach, Adrian, Zoe, Joe us and all the kids are having dinner etc down the back..lucky we got looots of space..lol.. Though Zoe and I are being very slack and sleeping in the house..lol.. I know I am a piker.. but I am too old to sleep on the rocky ground down there when I will have a perfectly good bed 50 mtrs away..lol. and Zoe agrees.. Anyway..still got the PG newsletter to finalise.. so I hope you all have a fantastic weekend..

Well it had to happen sometime.. we got our first dose of Headlice today from school.. yuk... yuk.. YUK.... We have been soo lucky.. never having had it right through Daycare and Kindy.. What a total pain.. but of course boys being boys.. I think he thinks it's pretty cool.. but he did tell me that the stuff smells like poo.. pmsl.. well that's boys for ya.. Hope you are all scratchingyour heads now.. rofl!!

Yep.. I am officially old.. lol..

But first I want to show off the gorgeous notebook that the beautiful Kylie sent me.. I just love it.. and have been using for my to do lists.. seeing as I always have so many.. Mwah Kylie.. I love it!

Ok.. It was my Birthday on Saturday.. and the love started on Friday.. My wonderful friends that come over on Friday morning arrived with cakes, chocs and hmmm Cheesecake.. Thank you so very much ladies.. it was soo sweet. I really hadn't expected anything.. and the gorgeous Tanya even ran over early to put up balloons on the letterbox and brought me a yummy Cheesecake Coffee Cake with a 21 candle on it.. I soo wish.. and what a surprise when I drove up to the house. I am so lucky to have made such fantastic friends up here..

The two boys helped me to blow out the candles.. How yummy does that cake look.. You know what I been eating all week..pmsl..

On Saturday morning Connor played in his 'Grand Final' at Browne Park (sp). He was so impressed that he got to play where the Broncos have played.. Of course he will tell you that as usual both teams won.. I soo love that.. but the boys did do really well and I think they may have actually scored more tries.. Go Knights..lol..

Didn't get any photos of the other pair as they were rather grumpy that morning.. as was Connor. He had been a bit sick on Thursday and still wasn't himself.. Just one of those virus things that cause a temp and a headache and not much else.

So I have to say I was grateful to head off to Scrap n' Scrap to do Jill Geraghty-Groves class.. We had a great time.. I was soo relaxed by the time I left.. and as It was Julie's Birthday a few days before mine they had a cake for us and the Big Pink Bus turned up.. and of course I spent a fortune on Ann's Chipboard...lol.. It was sooo cool.. you just have to check it out.

And here we are again with Jill.. It was such a fantastic Class. I learnt a few new tricks.. and it was just soo relaxed.. I hope Jill comes back again soooon!

Ok well here is on Lo I did.. Of my niece Sienna.. How cute is she. I love how it turned out.. Had so much fun doing all the girly stuff.. and the bling.. Oh I love the bling..lol..

Here is the lo we were working off.. Jill is such a talented lady. As you can see she used boys for her lo's.. like me she is the Mum of 3 boys.. But I soo wanted to do a girly lo.. lol

And this is the other lo.. Declan and Ebony.. they are just tooo cute.. Have I mentioned I looved getting all girly..lol.. and Jill showed me how to make the buds out of the flowers..so cute..

And this is the lo we were working off.. I didn't end up stitching around mine.. I prob could.. but I'm not sure I will get it done.. Especially as I haven't even finished the stitching from Nicole's first class.. I know I am naughty.. lol.. I love how all the lo's came out so different even though we were all working with the same things.. Just love it Jill and thanks soo much..

When I got home Greg and the boys had made me a chocolate cake.. yum.. Greg took pics on his phone.. but I haven't got around to downloading them yet.. And they had bought me a couple of indoor plants, seeing as I had finally killed the last one.. Oh well. Hope these last.

Greg then took Connor and Declan to Connor's footy breakup on Sunday.. Brodie was not well so I stayed home with him.. as I wasn't feeling all that crash hot either. I think I was lucky enough to catch the boys flu.. Brodie still has a temp.. and Declan has one now too.. so they both missed Daycare today.. So no day off for Mummy this week. So next week we need to do a makeup lesson for swimming for the two little ones.. and I have decided to pull them out next term.. Everyone just seems soo tired in this house at the moment. I figure a term with no commitments but Playgroup might do us all good.

But overall it has been a lovely week.. had a few surprises turn up in the mail.. Thanks to you all .. You know who you are.. Mwah!! I lubs you all..

Anyway.. I think I am going to go and check on the boys.. give them some more panadol and crash.. Catch you all soon!

This weeks WC.. and my Treasure swap

This is my entry for Sheree's WC. We had to scrap and old dodgy photo.. so I decided to scrap the very first pic of me that I had..

The journalling under the tag reads.. 'This photo was taken in 1973.. I think I was about 11 mths old... The Doll always sat on Nana’s bed and was only thrown away when she died because it was broken... This is the very first photo that I have of me...'
I made the scrolls and beaded flower and the tag was a gift from the gorgeous Toni off the blog.. DG also gave me some of the flowers and there are other flowers that were also a gift. I am soo Lucky to have such wonderful friends..

We had a treasure swap n the Boxx and this is part of what I sent Megan.. the bits I made.. Had great fun doing it and impressed with the way it turned out.. if I do say so myself..lmao

and I got this from Megan today.. I love it.. and i have found the perfect pics to use with all this gorgeous stuff.

Well off to my class tomorrow.. soo looking forward to that.. Have a good weekend all..

Life is just geting too busy..lol..

Well.. Since I blogged last week it has been busy as usual.. Last Thursday night we had a Father's day concert at Connor's School.. It was so sweet they did a movie of what the kids liked about their Dad.. and sung them a song.. it was so sweet.. Connor said he loved it when Daddy took him fishing, played and watched Football with him..

Then it was Declan's 4th Birthday on Friday.. Made all the more special because Granny Sunt and Poppy Col came up for the weekend. We had a lovely party at the park on Saturday morning with all our friends.. he had a great morning and was very impressed with all the pressies he got. And the kids loved the balloons.. and the adults had a great time making balloon animals..etc.. but of course the kids just loved the balloons..lol

The Pinata was a hit but after the kids all had about 4 goes each it took the Dad's to finally bust it..pmsl..

On Sunday of course it was Father's Day. Declan and Brodie had made presents for Daddy as well.. and we gave him a bait box and fishing belt thingie..lol.. shows how much I know and a pair of Bronco's Boxers.. As Greg is an early bird he got up and made us breakfast... mean hey.. but I'm afraid there is no way I can get up early enough to give him brekkie in bed.. and we had to leave the house by 8!.

Connor played Football and then we went to the park for Father's Day. I tried to get some nice Father's Day pic's but of course .. boys will be boys.. lol

Connor had his first go at riding his bike without training wheels. He is still a little scared but at last it was a start!

Brodie has no fear of course.. and loves having a try at the scooter. He can do a few hops on his own before he falls over..lol

Granny thought she would have a go at Connor's bike.. I think Poppy was going to give her a helpful shove..pmsl..

But she had great fun on Declan's new Scooter..rofl..

Connor was very proud of himself when he came home with his first achievement award on Monday.. They give one out to a kid in every class each week at assembly.. I missed it unfortunately but was told he stood up the front of the school grinning from ear to ear. He got it for doing so well saying his prayer at Prayer Assembly on Friday. Don't you love that gappy grin!!

Tuesday night the boys loved getting Granny to read them stories.. I sat there taking pic after pic.. even photographing feet and hands..lol.. until even Brodie looked at me and said..'Mummy Stop it!' rofl.. Oh well.. a Mum's gotta do what a Mum's gotta do.. and yo know I love piccies!


Poppy is always saying 'I'm good with Kiddies'..rofl.. I think the look on his face when Brodie crawled up on he couch next to him says it all!!

Now my Mum has always hated cats.. but she was sitting in Greg's seat.. and Murphy does like sitting on Greg's lap..lol.. He never quite got there..pmsl.. so Mum and Col swapped seats..

Well I actually scrapped Sheree's WC today.. Will upload a pic soon.. I actually did a baby photo of me..

Well I think I have rambled on enough.. get to go to a Jill Geraghty-Groves Class on Saturday.. after Connor's Footy finals morning.. Looking forward to that.. and to seeing Nicole again and meeting Ann off the Boxx..

Oh and I won last Months BOY with my Lo of Greg.. 'Country Boy'! Woohoo More free stuff from the Boxx.. Ok .. I'm going now.. Hope you all had a great Father's Day.. and are having a great week.
