This weeks WC.. and my Treasure swap

This is my entry for Sheree's WC. We had to scrap and old dodgy photo.. so I decided to scrap the very first pic of me that I had..

The journalling under the tag reads.. 'This photo was taken in 1973.. I think I was about 11 mths old... The Doll always sat on Nana’s bed and was only thrown away when she died because it was broken... This is the very first photo that I have of me...'
I made the scrolls and beaded flower and the tag was a gift from the gorgeous Toni off the blog.. DG also gave me some of the flowers and there are other flowers that were also a gift. I am soo Lucky to have such wonderful friends..

We had a treasure swap n the Boxx and this is part of what I sent Megan.. the bits I made.. Had great fun doing it and impressed with the way it turned out.. if I do say so myself..lmao

and I got this from Megan today.. I love it.. and i have found the perfect pics to use with all this gorgeous stuff.

Well off to my class tomorrow.. soo looking forward to that.. Have a good weekend all..

Life is just geting too busy..lol..

Well.. Since I blogged last week it has been busy as usual.. Last Thursday night we had a Father's day concert at Connor's School.. It was so sweet they did a movie of what the kids liked about their Dad.. and sung them a song.. it was so sweet.. Connor said he loved it when Daddy took him fishing, played and watched Football with him..

Then it was Declan's 4th Birthday on Friday.. Made all the more special because Granny Sunt and Poppy Col came up for the weekend. We had a lovely party at the park on Saturday morning with all our friends.. he had a great morning and was very impressed with all the pressies he got. And the kids loved the balloons.. and the adults had a great time making balloon animals..etc.. but of course the kids just loved the balloons..lol

The Pinata was a hit but after the kids all had about 4 goes each it took the Dad's to finally bust it..pmsl..

On Sunday of course it was Father's Day. Declan and Brodie had made presents for Daddy as well.. and we gave him a bait box and fishing belt thingie..lol.. shows how much I know and a pair of Bronco's Boxers.. As Greg is an early bird he got up and made us breakfast... mean hey.. but I'm afraid there is no way I can get up early enough to give him brekkie in bed.. and we had to leave the house by 8!.

Connor played Football and then we went to the park for Father's Day. I tried to get some nice Father's Day pic's but of course .. boys will be boys.. lol

Connor had his first go at riding his bike without training wheels. He is still a little scared but at last it was a start!

Brodie has no fear of course.. and loves having a try at the scooter. He can do a few hops on his own before he falls over..lol

Granny thought she would have a go at Connor's bike.. I think Poppy was going to give her a helpful shove..pmsl..

But she had great fun on Declan's new Scooter..rofl..

Connor was very proud of himself when he came home with his first achievement award on Monday.. They give one out to a kid in every class each week at assembly.. I missed it unfortunately but was told he stood up the front of the school grinning from ear to ear. He got it for doing so well saying his prayer at Prayer Assembly on Friday. Don't you love that gappy grin!!

Tuesday night the boys loved getting Granny to read them stories.. I sat there taking pic after pic.. even photographing feet and hands..lol.. until even Brodie looked at me and said..'Mummy Stop it!' rofl.. Oh well.. a Mum's gotta do what a Mum's gotta do.. and yo know I love piccies!


Poppy is always saying 'I'm good with Kiddies'..rofl.. I think the look on his face when Brodie crawled up on he couch next to him says it all!!

Now my Mum has always hated cats.. but she was sitting in Greg's seat.. and Murphy does like sitting on Greg's lap..lol.. He never quite got there..pmsl.. so Mum and Col swapped seats..

Well I actually scrapped Sheree's WC today.. Will upload a pic soon.. I actually did a baby photo of me..

Well I think I have rambled on enough.. get to go to a Jill Geraghty-Groves Class on Saturday.. after Connor's Footy finals morning.. Looking forward to that.. and to seeing Nicole again and meeting Ann off the Boxx..

Oh and I won last Months BOY with my Lo of Greg.. 'Country Boy'! Woohoo More free stuff from the Boxx.. Ok .. I'm going now.. Hope you all had a great Father's Day.. and are having a great week.

Warning.. Another epic post ...

With lots of pictures..rofl.. I can't help myself.. I loove pics.. lol Anyway escape now if you can..rofl.

Last Thursday the Fire Brigade came to Playgroup.. and we had a big surprise because Win News decided to cover it.. and Unfortunately wanted an interview with me.. not good.. only 10 secs.. but as I told my friends.. I have a head for radio and a voice for silent movies..pmsl.. I wish I could upload it for you all to laugh at and see the kids but I can't figure out how to do it.. Any ideas please let me know.. We are getting a bit famous at PG.. The week before the local news took pics.. last week the local tv what's next..??

But kids are soo funny.. I told Declan that morning that we might be on TV.. and asked if he would like that... 'No' was the answer I got.. 'but why wouldn't you like to be on tv?' I asked.. 'because I want to come out of it Mummy.. I don't want to stay in the TV'. I had to reassure him that it was only going to be his picture on the tv and not him.. he was happy then.. lmao.. You wonder how their minds work hey.

Anyway to the pics. The fireman gave the kids a little talk upstairs and showed them a few safety things etc.. then we went downstairs to see the truck.. of course.. this was the highlight for the kids.. they loved looking over it but you shoulda seen their faces when they were told they could hold the hose.. Now the Fireman kept joking about how the kids could wet the Parents.. yeah right.. well I went to the front side of them to take pics.. when the hose was first turned on this is what I saw.....................


Yep.. Brodie and I got soaked.. and everyone just about fell over laughing.. the fireman assures me that the last person who used the hose hadn't turned it off spray to stream.. somehow.. I am not sure I believe him!! lol

You can see how much Declan enjoyed the hose..

I gave my camera to Rachel to take pics while I had my 'interview'. And she took this pic of me and the boys.. and I actually don't mind it..

I asked Declan and Ebony to stand next to each other and this is what I got.. aren't they cute!!!

On Friday the girls came over for morning tea as usual.. The kids had a ball on the trampoline..

Nicholas and Brodie had the best fun.. jumping around together.

And they started wrestling.. Nicholas who is normally so quiet around other people gave Brodie a run for his money..pmsl.. I got the cutest photos!

but if anyone got hurt.. I just said.. 'kiss and cuddle..make it better' and this is what they did..and the tears magically stopped..

When Brodie had a dirty nappy he refused to come off the trampoline so I decided that the easiest thing to do was climb up there and change him.. Of course Amanda grabbed the camera and got some lovely photos of me climbing up. which I won't inflict on you..pmsl..

But of course Brodie had to have a wrastle... and Amanda got pics of that to.. I have cropped some of the not so pretty bits out but I love this pic of Me and Brodie..

When they wore themselves out the played nicely on the grass.. How cute are they!!

On Sunday Connor had football and the boys played really well.. they are starting to really play like a team and actually running with the ball.. I was helping in canteen but I managed to see Connor have the longest run with the ball I have seen him do yet.. It was mainly across the field and he didn't make much ground..lol.. but at least he was having a really good go..and our team actually won.. Not that they keep score.. Next week is the final game of the season.. No more 7am Sunday mornings.. yeah..am I a bad Mother..lol.

After we got home on Sunday Zoe and the kids came over for a visit.. and the kids were out helping Greg build the last section of the fence.. He had gone to the shed and Brodie and Ella decided they need to find him.. and this is what we saw when we checked on them.

they held hands all the way down.. all the way back.. until Ella saw her Mum.. then she decided Mummy was more important..

But Brodie had to help her anyway.. what a little gentleman!!

Well If you made it this far you've done well.. or your just used to me..rofl.. We have Declan's birthday this Friday.. so it is going to be another busy week.. lots of cooking etc.. for his party on Sat.. and Mum and Col are coming up on Friday and staying until Wednesday.. Of course they will be playing golf next week..

More Layouts...

Woohoo.. I have done some scrappin.. OK.. here are the two layouts I did at the magnificent Nicole's Class at Scrap'n scrap on Saturday.. It was great fun..

These are the photos taken by the photographer that comes around to the hospital.. Declan would not stop screaming so he let us go to his studio and get the whole family done.. The pictures just matched Nic's gorgeous lo so beautifully .. I just had to change a few bits to fit them all in.. I love it..

This is the single lo we did.. The photos are from when we brought Declan home from hospital.. Another gorgeous lo from Nic.. Simple but effective!

At the class Nicole dared me to scrap my to do list for the week.. As Sheree's WC on the Boxx was for a non person photo.. I was inspired.. Used up some scraps and things I have had sitting there for ages.. and fr the first time ever I really doodled.. and doodled and doodled.. lmao.. Well I figured I had nothing else to do.. rofl.. which is my fav saying at the moment whenever someone suggest I do something or asks me to do something..lol.. Like Nicole suggesting I scrap my to do list..! But I am really happy with the result.. Sheree took the easy way out this week and has put the lo's up for vote.. so we don't find out who wins until Monday.. not that I think I have a chance..the other lo's are just soo gorgeous.. They are such a talented bunch on there..

And this month's BOY from Sheree was 'Style'. Well I don't think I have any..pmsl.. so I did it on Greg instead.. who given a chance would go only buy check shirts, RM's etc.. Well he may not be quite that bad.. but nearly.. lol Used DG's Rip and Stitch and pick Technique. Considering I managed to get two lo's done in one afternoon/night I am really happy with them..

And woohoo.. I am now officially 2 lo's ahead of my 1/week goal..mind you.. I may not be doing much in the next week or so..Oh well. I am happy just to be getting some scrapping done..
