School Fete

Last Sunday was an extremely busy day with the School Fete. I helped out with a few different stalls and the boys had performances which were very cute then they spent the day racing around like nuts. Declan went on the sizzling spinner or whatever it was called about 6 times and Connor had a ball with the Laser Skirmish. Brodie loved racing around on the Dodgems and all of them managed to spend all their money on games, toys and whatever else took their fancy. Lol by the time we got home I was exhausted and fell asleep on the chair!

The start of the School Year.

Well School has started and this year we have Connor in Grade 1 and Declan in Kindy 3 days a week. OOh heaven..lol..

Connor is loving Grade 1.. His reading already is coming along fantastic.. and so far he hasn't been in trouble..lol..

Declan started on Wed 28th of Jan.. They had part of the class start on each day.. They have one day a week for 2 weeks and then they go to the full 3 days. He loved his first 2 days. And when I picked him up last week he excitedly told me that next week he is going 3 days a week.. and "Mummy .. I get Homework!" I hope he is still excited about that fact in 10 years time.. but somehow I don't think so..lol.

Brodie did 2 days a week at Daycare for a little while over the school holidays.. he has been moved up to the Purple room and he loves it. No more of the 'Mummy feel guilty tears' in the morning.. and now he asks nearly everyday if he can go to daycare. Unfortunately since the hols have finished they have not been able to fit him in for the 2 days but hopefully soon they will have a spot for him.

Connor's School Christmas Party

On Wednesday Connor had his Christmas party at school.. It was great it was on a Wednesday as I could go without the other two..They had a great time playing in the water to start, Santa came and gave them all a book each and then they had lots of yummy treats to eat.. we of course had to make our Reindeer biccies.

Connor's Presentation Night

Last Thursday Connor's School had their Presentation Night.. The Prepies were very excited because they got to sing some carols early on in the evening.. Unfortunately the pics I took of Connor singing were not very good so I am hoping to find some better ones.. but I did take a couple outside before we started.

Unfortunately we didn't stay long after Connor's song as Brodie and Declan were getting very bored and annoying.. Oh well maybe next year!
